I’m Kirsty, a 40 something mum of 2, personal trainer and runner.
I’ve built the Strength & Bloom website as a place for women to come together and access reliable, practical and fact based information and workouts that are designed to help you to live a more confident and empowered life.
Though my work as a personal trainer and running coach I have lots of experience of working with all kinds of real people, particularly with women. What I’ve learned from my own personal experiences and those of my clients is that often the balance of being a modern woman; a mother, a wife, a partner, or being in a stressful work situation as well as looking after yourself is tricky to navigate.

Exercise & positive movement can reduce your stress levels, strengthen your bones and muscles, improve your mood, reduce the risk of some diseases, make you more confident & help you to sleep better.
We can respect our bodies by nourishing them with good food and positive movement and we can help with feelings of overwhelm, isolation and loneliness by building friendships and being part of a supportive and inclusive community.
